On July 19, 2024, the Guangdong New Generation Electronic Information Industry Development Conference and the Sixth First Member Representative Conference of the Guangdong Electronic Information Industry Association, hosted by the Guangdong Electronic Information Industry Association, were held in Guangzhou. Guangzhou Chengge Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengge Information") was invited to participate and was nominated and voted into office at the Member Representative Conference held that morning, becoming a member of the Sixth Council of the Guangdong Electronic Information Association. Chengge Information's "Passive Optical LAN (POL) Technology Research and Application Development" project is based on the increasingly complex application scenarios of enterprise networks. To meet the different business (converged business) needs of enterprise users, it innovatively proposes a new networking structure based on "edge cloud computing + optical access network (OLT+ODN+ONU)", deploys NFV network elements in the edge cloud, and uses PON technology to solve network access.

This networking model leverages the high performance, scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness of edge cloud while retaining the carrier-grade operational attributes of traditional optical access networks (high reliability, operability, and manageability). By designing NFV network elements tailored to enterprise application scenarios and collaborating with ONUs, an efficient end-to-end intelligent channel is constructed, enabling controllable, elastic, and perceptible pipeline management, as well as flexible traffic management.
