Gathering in Kunming: Digital Empowers Education, All-Optical Networks Lead the Future of Campus Networks

From October 25th to 27th, the 84th China Educational Equipment Exhibition, hosted by the China Educational Equipment Industry Association and co-organized by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and the Kunming Municipal People's Government, was grandly held at the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kunming. Guangzhou Chengge Information Technology Co., Ltd. This year 's three-day Educational Equipment Exhibition , themed "Digital Empowerment of Educational Innovation Leads the Future ," showcased the latest achievements in educational equipment through a hybrid online and offline exhibition model, promoting innovation and integration in educational technology and fostering high-quality development in education.

As the only exhibitor at this year's expo that brought all-optical campus private network products and solutions, Chengge showcased a series of products including the smart management center system and all-optical access network, including authentication gateway vBRAS, audit anti-proxy gateway, intelligent network management system, various types of OLTs and enterprise-level ONUs with multiple interfaces.

The all-optical network is a broadband network based on optical fiber, which uses light wave technology to complete information transmission and exchange.


The industry has long believed that passive optical networks (PON) are the future development direction of access networks. POL (Passive Optical Local Area Network) is a new local area network networking solution based on PON technology . It inherits the advantages of optical fiber and point-to-multipoint (P2MP) architecture. It carries all services on a single fiber and is ultra-broadband, extremely simple, passive, easy to expand and manage.


Chengge's POL all-optical campus network solution focuses on the information construction scenarios of the education industry, and is committed to building a next-generation campus private network that is secure, reliable, intelligently managed, and flexible. The overall solution features multi-service carrying, determinism, security, and localization, meeting the network infrastructure construction needs of universities.



One network supports multiple services in parallel. A single physical network can simultaneously support broadband, video surveillance, IP telephony, and access control. Subnets are integrated and isolated, ensuring the secure and stable operation of each service network.


Ensure required bandwidth with flexible and controllable bandwidth. Refined service bandwidth management enables end-to-end control, allocating bandwidth resources to meet the needs of different scenarios and providing fixed, guaranteed, and best-effort network services.


Multiple safeguards provide enhanced security. Layered security measures encompass product, topology design, link layer, and end-user security. PON networks are naturally isolated, data transmission between OLTs and ONUs is encrypted, and star-structured networking ensures security policies reach the end user.


Localization of software and hardware. The NFV (Network Function Virtualization) software series has completed the adaptation work of domestic software systems and hardware platforms, and equipment such as OLT and ONU have been localized.

During the exhibition, Chengge also highlighted the superiority of its "PIS Full Life Cycle Project Management" technical service system in building a "digital foundation" for the education industry, providing one-stop service management from top-level planning, product development, solution design to integrated delivery and operation and maintenance services. It has formulated corporate standards such as "POL Design Specifications" and "POL Implementation and Acceptance Specifications" to match the service demands of the education industry and create a new-quality service-oriented campus private network for customers.
