The Optical Network Unit (ONU) is an access terminal for passive optical local area networks (POLs) designed for wired and wireless applications in universities, campuses, and carriers. It provides ultra-broadband access to users using GPON/XGPON technology. The ONU supports integration with intelligent network management systems for centralized management and configuration.
