Broadband Remote Access Server, providing PPPoE access and IPoE access.
This device is suitable for use as an access device in broadband networks requiring authentication and billing, such as small and medium-sized ISPs, campuses, and enterprise networks. It can be used with authentication and billing systems to implement Portal authentication and PPPoE authentication, with different models available to suit different bandwidths and concurrent users. It can also be used with authentication and billing systems to provide customized app authentication access. The BRAS software can be adapted to the customer's hardware.
The Broadband Access Server (BRAS), part of Chengge's NFV product line, provides high-reliability, high-throughput broadband access servers for universities, campuses, and carriers. It performs authentication, authorization, and billing data collection for user access. Leveraging the multiple CPUs, high-speed CPIE interfaces, and large memory of the X86/Power platform, the BRAS software utilizes multi-CPU concurrent workflow and clustering technologies, resulting in high reliability and performance. It also offers flexible customization for new features, helping users quickly launch new services.
BRAS Features:
● Supports multi-operator autonomous routing based on user accounts.
● Supports the standard Radius protocol and extended protocols.
● Supports Portal, PPPoE, PPPoE dialing, and MAC address authentication.
● Supports QINQ access and a built-in, highly efficient DHCP server.
● Supports IPV4/IPV6 dual stacks and flexible policy configuration, including blacklists and whitelists, intelligent routing, and intelligent DNS, and supports clustering services for improved network reliability.
