On May 31, 2024, under the guidance of Guangdong High-tech Enterprises Association, Guangdong Computer Society, Guangdong Cloud Computing Application Association and Guangdong Smart City Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, hosted by Guangzhou ViewSonic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou University and Guangzhou Modern Information Engineering Vocational and Technical College, and undertaken by Guangzhou Modern Information Engineering Vocational and Technical College and Guangzhou ViewSonic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., the National Smart Education and Information Service Industry Industry-Education Integration Community Establishment Conference with the theme of "Digital Intelligence Leading, Information Driven, Industry-Education Integration" was successfully held in the third-floor auditorium of the Second Industrial Park of Guangzhou ViewSonic Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Chengge Information Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the conference and was awarded the vice chairman unit of the community.

The conference brought together information service industry-related companies, general colleges and universities, vocational colleges, scientific research institutions and other forces to jointly initiate the establishment of a national smart education and information service industry industry-education integration community to implement the country's strategic deployment on deepening industry-education integration, further explore the high-quality development path of vocational education, promote the deep integration of vocational education and industrial development, innovate talent training models, cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet the needs of the new era, and establish a new pattern of mutual benefit and win-win development between colleges and universities and industrial development.

The conference agenda mainly consists of speeches by leaders, review and voting on the community charter and member units, announcement of the list of community member units and awarding of plaques, community establishment launch ceremony, academic forum activities, etc.

In his speech, Zhang Jingzhong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at Guangzhou University, stated that the establishment of the Industry-Education Integration Community echoes the strategic planning and decision-making arrangements of the Party and the state, and meets the requirements of talent cultivation and high-quality development of the industry. Academician Zhang earnestly hopes that the industry organizations, schools, research institutions, and upstream and downstream enterprises participating in the construction of the community will not forget their original aspirations, keep their mission firmly in mind, and work together through concrete actions to build, build, and share, making important contributions to promoting scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation reform, and high-quality development of vocational education in the smart education and information service industries.

Zhou Mutang, President of the Guangdong High-Tech Enterprise Association and former Second-Level Inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, stated that the establishment of the community is a practical action to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and fully implement a series of national policies on deepening the integration of industry and education. It is a major innovative measure to systematically advance the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, and is an inevitable requirement for promoting the integration of vocational and general education, industry and education, and science and education across various industries. President Zhou stated, "The industry-education integration community is not only an important tool for promoting educational reform, but also a key move in achieving economic transformation and upgrading. By building close connections between general universities, vocational colleges, and industrial development, it will cultivate more high-quality talents that meet the needs of social development and inject continuous impetus into corporate development."

Lu Kunjian, President of Guangdong Light Industry Vocational and Technical College and Executive Chairman of the Guangdong Industry-Education Integration Promotion Association, believes that today's industry-education integration is not only the fusion of school teaching and enterprise production processes, but also a comprehensive integration from the theoretical to the technical and skills levels. President Lu hopes that the newly established community will use its solid platform to promote educational reform, promote industry-education integration with powerful technical capabilities, and leverage the advantages of gathering top experts in various fields to gather a diverse range of talents for industry-education integration.

The establishment of this community aims to foster in-depth collaboration between industry and education by leveraging their respective strengths and the collective's role. This will promote innovative and entrepreneurial education and the cultivation of high-level technical and skilled personnel with a craftsman's spirit, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results between higher education institutions and industry, and contribute positively to sustainable social and economic development. Furthermore, through the community's continuous deepening of industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaboration, it will effectively resolve the structural contradictions between talent supply and industry demand, further improve the quality of talent training, and provide applicable technical skills for regional economic transformation and development. The initial community membership comprises 139 organizations, including 57 enterprises, 36 general universities, 38 higher vocational colleges, and 8 research and other institutions. Members are located in 22 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China.

Guangzhou Chengge Information Technology Co., Ltd., as the Vice Chairman of the newly established National Smart Education and Information Services Industry-Education Integration Community, has been deeply engaged in the information and communications industry for over a decade. It is the only one-stop ICT integration service provider in China offering original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product supply, integrated delivery, and on-site operations and maintenance services for scenario-based campus private network construction. The company's mission is to empower industrial upgrading through technological innovation, support the development of education, and fulfill its corporate social responsibility. Chengge Information has initiated and hosted the 2023 New Smart Campus Symposium, organized and hosted the Next-Generation POL All-Optical Campus Private Network Academic Seminar, donated to build the "Modern Information Network Training and Innovation Center" for higher vocational colleges, and has its General Manager, Mr. Lin Junfa, serving as an industry mentor at universities. Over the years, Chengge Information has been committed to practicing and exploring diverse approaches to industry-education integration, achieving remarkable results. In the future, Chengge Information will work with community members to forge ahead, strengthening collaboration between universities, enterprises, industry, academia, and research, deepening the industry-education integration model, and contributing to the high-quality development of the education and information services industries.
